Activity Programme
Eight ways your child grows beyond the classroom
Every co-curricular activity at Zion is timetabled and led by a teacher, so each child gets regular practice in the arts, sport, wellness, language and technology — not just an occasional event.

Work Education
Practical, hands-on tasks that build dignity of labour, patience and everyday problem-solving skills. Children learn by making, fixing and creating — not just by listening.
- Craft, clay and simple project work in every term
- Builds patience, neatness and pride in honest work
- Connects classroom concepts to real, useful skills

Visual Arts
Art and drawing classes where children explore colour, form and their own imagination. Every child gets regular time with pencils, paints and paper — and work to proudly take home.
- Drawing, painting and craft led by a dedicated teacher
- Encourages observation, focus and fine motor skills
- Student artwork is displayed and celebrated at school events

Performing Arts
Music, dance and drama — confidence on stage, rhythm, expression and teamwork. Regular practice builds towards performances at school functions through the year.
- Singing, instruments, dance and short plays
- Stage confidence that carries into classroom participation
- Performances at annual functions and celebrations

Sports
Indoor and outdoor games, athletics and inter-house events built around fitness and fair play. Every child plays — sport at Zion is for everyone, not just a school team.
- Daily physical activity and structured games periods
- Inter-house events that teach teamwork and sportsmanship
- Fitness habits that support health and concentration

Yoga
Regular yoga and breathing sessions that support focus, flexibility and calm through the school day. Children learn simple practices they can use for life.
- Guided yoga and breathing practice each week

- Builds calm, self-discipline and emotional balance

Smart Language Lab
Guided listening and speaking practice that builds clear, confident spoken English. Headsets, audio lessons and teacher feedback make every child an active speaker.
- Listening and speaking practice with modern audio tools
- Pronunciation, vocabulary and conversation skills
- Confidence in spoken English from the early years

Kids Coding
Age-appropriate, block-based coding and logic games introducing computational thinking early. Children learn to give instructions, spot patterns and solve problems step by step.
- Visual, block-based coding — no prior experience needed
- Develops logic, sequencing and problem-solving
- A gentle foundation for future technology learning

Kids Movie & Series
Curated educational films and series, followed by discussion that turns screen time into learning time. Children watch together, then talk about what they saw and learned.
- Age-appropriate, teacher-selected educational content
- Group discussion after every screening
- Builds comprehension, vocabulary and reflection
Every Child, Something to Shine At
A weekly rhythm of activity
Co-curricular periods are timetabled, not optional extras. Every student takes part, and every term ends with a chance to perform, exhibit or compete.
