About the School

Our Story

A co-educational, English-medium institution at Gobardanga, Ichapur (Hatkhola) — built on the educational heritage of the region and a promise to nurture, inspire and empower.

School Story

Rooted in a region shaped by learning

The Zion Public School is located at Gobardanga, Ichapur (Hatkhola), 743252, West Bengal, India. We are a co-educational, English-medium institution serving families across Gobardanga, Ichapur, Hatkhola and the surrounding areas of North 24 Parganas.

The campus sits in a green, picturesque environment beside the river Yamuna — quiet, clean and free from pollution, which makes a real difference to how children learn.

We value the educational heritage of this area, which grew during the Bengal Renaissance. Pandit Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar's visit to the Ichapur Free Primary School — described as around 150 years old — remains part of the local story we carry forward.

Our aim is to prepare students as responsible, socially aware citizens who can hold their own anywhere in the world.

Morning Assembly

The working day starts with the morning assembly — prayer, news reading, a short speech and the pledge of the nation.

The assembly is intended to develop moral values, hygiene, discipline, awareness and respect for important events, and it sets the tone for everything that follows.
